Description

We are happy to offer this program free of charge to participants thanks to a grant from Healthy Together Now.

We are offering a series of 4 sessions on Friday afternoons from 1:00pm-4:00pm on May 24, June 21, September 20 and October 18, all sessions will be hosted at the Grunthal Centennial Park.

Each session will have nature based arts and crafts, nature walks, and opportunities to get to know one another through storytelling and games!

The themes for the sessions are Water, Earth, Air and Fire and will have themed activities such as water-colour painting, clay sculpting fairy houses, simple kites, bird feeders, bannock over the fire, making lanterns and more!

We have a limited amount of space available in this program and are inviting people of all ages to apply to attend. We are hoping for an even mix of youth and seniors for our program and will notify registrants no later than May 9, 2024 with further details and notification of acceptance. If registration is full, we will add you to the waitlist and let you know if space opens up.

Children ages 8 and up are welcome to be dropped off from 1 - 4pm and will need to be signed in and out by a caregiver.

Children 7 and under must be accompanied by a caregiver for the duration of the session; the caregiver must also be registered as an attendee below.

We will be providing a snack, and water to refill bottles during the program. Pack a water bottle for each participant!

Please wear weather appropriate clothing which you don't mind getting dirty/having paint on, etcetera! Please also pack a change of clothing just in case.
