ABC Come Breathe With Me

This wonderful program is offered for free by GEDREC and Lindsey Brown of Whirling Rainbow Alchemy, thanks to grant funding from the Manitoba Government. Registration opens March 19th - Registration link will appear on this page. Limited seats available. Details for participants: Plan to meet at the small parking lot corner of Cartier Rd and Rd 200 (kiddy corner to the Esso). We will walk into the trail together and stop twice along the way for some guided activities and then some free play in the nature playground at the end. Please note that there aren’t any washrooms along the trail.

ABC Come Breathe with Me is a family friendly series that was started in Spring 2021.  We have brought groups together to breathe at the Assiniboine Forest, La Barrier Park, Crescent Dr Park, Bois-des-Espirits and Bunn's Creek.  We love to be outside appreciating all trees and nature wherever we go, though we do really really love to offer this program at the Friendship Trail whenever we can.  


As your guide and facilitator, I will share that I was a classroom teacher in Seven Oaks School Division for 13 years.  I am now on the path to entrepreneurship and offer a variety of different community sessions within the realm of honoring rites of passage and coming of age.  My website is www.whirlingrainbowalchemy.ca.   Looking forward to meeting you all and breathing together amongst our tree relatives !
