What is the Facilitator to Learner Ratio?

Our facilitator to learner ratio is very low, at 1:6, to allow for high quality care and individual attention given to each learner, and also to ensure safety when we are out on the land. We always have at least two staff facilitators on site at all times, and our group size is generally 12.

With a low ratio, teachers can closely observe learners to assess their needs and best directions for learning and growth, and support them meaningfully on their adventures!
