Thanks to all our participants, volunteers and organizers! We had a wonderful summer together in the garden and playing in nature :)
Families on the Farm is sponsored by Healthy Together Now and supported by many local donors.
The program is free to attend and will feature amazing workshops and fun activities presented by CPAWS (Canada Parks and Wilderness Society), FortWhyte Alive and the Green Action Center.
We will grow, tend and harvest a garden, learn about Composting, and start seeds to take home and grow.
We'll also have the opportunity to meet farm animals, horses and ponies, and collect eggs from chickens.
Group games, arts and crafts, and walks in nature will also feature.
